VPOD was supposed to be reset by "wins", now winning defined so that only one sort of (extremely unlikely) win resets it. The fact that it's hardly (ever?) been reset means to me, that it's generally boringly entrenched beyond what should be supported - from past, I'm thinking a turnover of ~6-8 months is pretty good.
This is just a call for a show of hands (agree/disagree with above sentiment) before I bother with a proto at a high enough power to change this- my proto would either involve cards, or go like this: Proto: High hands are risky ASAP after the beginning of each month, the Assessor SHALL choose a single player at random, with the probability of a particular player being chosen equal to (that player's VVLOD)/(all players' VVLOD). The Assessor CAN and SHALL reset that player's VVLOD to eir BVLOD by announcement. -Goethe
