Yes, we're aware of that shortcoming. I think we call the feature
'accurate display of historic data' and we will probably implement it in
the next time.
If you like to ensure that it will be implemented as soon as possible do
it yourself. This is the preliminary plan:
1. Have a new table where we store the ticket ids that were present when
the sprint was closed.
2. Upon sprint close/retarget, dump all tickets in the sprint backlog
into that table.
3. Modify the backlog so that it loads the ids from the new table if the
sprint is over.
