[AFMUG] Cellular Repeaters (again)

I know this is often discussed, but forgive my failure finding what I 
needed looking back through the archives.

I'm Looking for a Verizon Specific Repeater/booster.  Only need it for a 
week, so hopefully will be low priced.  Need to cover a small vacation 
house which is on the edge of signal coverage, no Internet connection is 
available (so a network extender is out)

Looks like there are <$100 systems on Amazon for 850MHZ, such as

I know that's not 4G, but would it work well enough for Voice and 3G 
data?  They all say you have to register with the carrier, is that 
required/hard to do?
