I keep getting customers telling me they are switching to streaming because they are paying $200/month for DISH.
When did satellite TV get so expensive? I figured they must have 4 receivers and getting every sports and premium channel available. But looking at their website, it seems like prices start around $100/mo. Is it just inflation? Or the addons for sports and additional receivers? Or people don't play the game any more of switching every 2 years between DISH and DirecTV to get the promo price? $200 seems like a lot. I keep warning them they'll have to pay more for Internet and probably $90 to $100 for streaming packages, but they don't care if their reference point is $200.
