Sorry, no, but that's a very specific question.

 

Can you use something to make a cover slip or a central area of a slide
slightly tacky, and then just press it against the grains (assuming you can
see them)?  Kind of how you would pick up cat hair with a piece of tape or a
fur roller?  You could use a piece of Scotch tape, but then you have to get
them off the tape, plus it would stick to the bag unless you maybe used a
post-it note.

 

I assume just using forceps isn't practical?

I have a small baggie with some very tiny mineral particles.  There are
probably only 10 particles, each about the size of popcorn salt grains.

I want to make sure I get them all out of a bag and affixed to a microscope
slide.

 

One of my sons suggested rinsing the bag out with water, I suggested alcohol
and letting it evaporate.  I guess in a petri dish.

But then we still have to find the grains and transfer and affix them to a
slide.

 

Anyone have any experience with type of thing?
