450 has a variety of link test methods. With or without bridging seems to give a very good representation of the overall capable throughput of the SM. Extrapolated might be another story.
ePMP link tests seem to take into account the throughput of the AP at the time of the test. SM's connected at MCS 15 seem to only test at around 30mb on a busy AP, whereas an SM on less busy AP (same tower) will test at 80mb. Can anyone confirm this? I thought I once heard that ePMP uses UDP packets for link tests. If that is the case, then would you want to take an additional 5-10 percent off the linktest to gain a better idea of it's overall throughput capabilities?
