*Its not to late.... *To head south for a few days to relax and learn before
the spring rush!

Come to WISPAmerica 2014 in Little Rock on Monday March 24th . From
1:00-4:00 pm in the Caraway 1 room, we will be holding a class that all
wisps, climbers, and ground crews alike should attend.

This class is designed to teach basic and advanced rigging and climbing
techniques, as well as cover the different equipment and gear that can be
used for climbing and rigging. We will bring you up to speed on OSHA and
ANSI requirements. In addition, we will also demonstrate the different
types and uses of knots, pulley systems, hoisting, ropes, and so on.

We will also cover the proper safety/fall protection gear and the different
ways to position yourself while on a tower. Cable routing and tower
etiquette will also be discussed. There will be ample time for questions
and answers and for open discussion. This class is lead by a trained,
advanced tower climbing and rescue technician that has been climbing for
the WISP industry for the past 8+ years.

All climbers and crew should be certified, but this is not a certification
class. It teaches what you need to know to work safely and smarter at
height.

The cost for this course is only $50 and can be purchased while registering
for WISPAmerica. Walk-ins are always welcome.
