The WaveRider Next Generation 900 MHz System is scheduled to ship October
2007. The new system makes it possible for operators to provide higher
bandwidth to their customers and support more subscribers on their network
infrastructure. Maximum user data rate 8 Mbps capacity and up to 300
subscribers, depending on the grade of service selected. Legacy System
Support allows operators to utilize existing RF network infrastructure
with the new system base station, antennas, and bandpass filters. The new
base station is able to support EUM 3005/3006 legacy customer premise
equipment. Performance of the new solution expands market position into
higher value-added segments.
