You could put them in an aar. This way if you end publishing both armeabit
and x86 you don't have to setup the dependency separately in each flavor.

Yes, it's not great, as you have to create a new archive with your so
files, but it's also better, since it would contain an manifest and declare
the minSdkVersion of your library.
