We have one Netware TSM client that normally takes between 2 and 3 hours. Yesterday,
it indicated a normal backup of a file @ 2:20 and hung for almost 6 hours. The TSM
Server did not show a connection. Using "Q" to quit did not clear the TSM session.

Press 'Q' to end operation, any other key to continue.

Even when you pressed "Q" it did not release. the server had to be re-booted.

I had wondered if it was related to the length of the path/filename being backed up.

Any ideas??

Thanks,
