Let me have opportunity to explain to u the difference between these
two. First of all let us understand that there is no such hardware
difference between 64 and 32 bit, these are two different versions of
windows 7 . Only what u need in both the cases that the processor of
your laptop should support till 64 bit. All systems which have minimum
second generation processor weather I3, I5 or I7, and at least 3 GB
ram may be used for installing 64 bit windows.
Its only the windos installed upon your machine which separates
between 32 and 64 bit platform.
The people who are saying that in 64 bit windows all 32 bit softwares
can be installed are wrong, because 64 bit windows softwares are
separetly designed but what happens that generally softwares are kept
compatible for both platform. While its crystal clear that in 32 bit
windows no software which has been made for 64 bit windows can be
installed.
So never confuse, just keep in mind that these 64 and 32 bit are only
two different versions of windows 7. So far far as xp is concerned it
usually comes with 32 bit OS.
Till now every window was supporting 32 bit so most of the softwares
are in that limit, but I am saying that in neer future all windows
will be 64 bit therefore the supporting software for 32 bit will be
stopped and new softwares will be made specially only supporting 64
bit not lesser, just to stop piracy. Today 90% softwares are being
used which are not legally obtained, therefore Microsoft is trying to
make over this problem.
