If you do not use too many legacy softwares then do consider a snapdragon based machine from either Asus, Acer or HP. Battery should easily last you more than 10 hours on a single charge. X64 based laptops wouldn't work for more than 4 hours on average in the medium to long term. Note: you do have a separate Arm-based installer for Jaws.
