Dear UltraViewer Support Team,
I am writing to formally report significant accessibility barriers within the Ultra Viewer application for Windows. Currently, the software is largely unusable for individuals who are blind or visually impaired and rely on screen readers (such as NVDA or JAWS) and keyboard navigation. Key Issues Identified: . Inaccessible Interface: Screen readers cannot detect or announce UI elements, making it impossible to navigate the ID and Password fields or access the menu. . Keyboard Navigation: The application does not follow standard focus order, preventing users from operating the software without a mouse. . Forced Startup: The application defaults to "Start with Windows," yet the setting to disable this is inaccessible via screen reader. Users are forced to manually navigate services.msc to change the startup type, which is an unreasonable technical burden. Legal Compliance: As a global software provider, it is important to note that failing to provide an accessible interface violates several international disability laws, including: . The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) - United States . The European Accessibility Act (EAA) - European Union . The RPWD Act 2016 - India . AODA - Canada Ignoring these standards not only excludes a significant portion of the population but also exposes the company to potential legal action in these jurisdictions. Requested Action: Please forward this ticket to your product development and QA teams. I request that you prioritize a fix for the UI labeling and keyboard focus issues to ensure Ultra Viewer is compliant with WCAG 2.1/2.2 standards. Accessibility is a fundamental right, and I hope to see Ultra Viewer become an inclusive tool for all users. I look forward to hearing about your plan to address these critical issues. -- Disclaimer: 1.
