EnAble India is inviting applications for the Trainer Certification Course 2025, designed to equip individuals with visual impairments to become certified trainers in computer and employability skills. The program prepares participants to work as trainers in NGOs, schools, and other institutions.
Course Details • Duration: September 15, 2025 – March 31, 2026 (6 months) • Phase 1: September 15 – December 20, 2025, at EnAble India, Bangalore • Phase 2: Internship from January 1 – March 31, 2026 • Subjects Covered: Computers, English, Life Skills, Employability, and Mobility • Seats Available: 15 • Mode: Onsite Eligibility Criteria • Open to individuals with visual impairments (age not exceeding 35 years) • Must clear Computer and English assessments (minimum 60% in each) • Basic English communication skills required • Graduation completed (exception: 12th pass with computer knowledge and English communication skills) • Only Indian citizens are eligible Training Completion Criteria • 95% attendance and 100% completion of assessments, projects, and internship • Certification in any screen reader (JAWS/NVDA) • Proficiency in demonstrating assistive aids to stakeholders (employers, parents, NGO leaders, college students, and schoolchildren) Key Outcomes 1. Conduct digital literacy programs, including long-term programs for the visually impaired (initially under supervision) 2. Manage the training process, including sourcing, maintaining training records, and reporting 3. Follow organizational policies (HR, Travel, Posh, etc.) 4. Conduct training programs at different locations, requiring travel within district or state Accommodation EnAble India will assist in finding hostel/PG accommodations.
