The trip you all have been waiting for has arrived. Planet Abled’s upcoming inclusive group trip to Kerala is scheduled from 5th to 10th November 2025. Below is the day-wise travel plan, followed by the cost per person and inclusions - Day 01, 5th November - Arrive in Cochin, transfer to the hotel, and rest. We will start the journey in the afternoon by going on a guided tour around the Broadway market, walking in the bustling narrow streets, and visiting shops selling ingredients. We will experience the daily life of the local community through activities, interactions, and conversations. Then we will go to the Marine Drive, walk along the promenade facing the Arabian Sea at leisure, and enjoy the refreshing sea breeze. Now we will go for a beautiful sunset cruise. Thereafter, we return to the hotel. Day 02, 6th November - Have a hearty breakfast early in the morning and check out from the hotel. Then we will go to visit Fort Kochi and Mattancherry, a famous historic and cultural area, with churches, palaces, and a fort built by the Portuguese. We will walk around at leisure and enjoy the local vibe. Then we will stop by for lunch at Abad Fort Restaurant. After lunch, we will drive to Munnar- approximately 4 hrs. We will arrive at the hotel and rest. Day 03, 7th November - After breakfast, we will go to visit the tea museum and drive to Marayoor through Munnar’s beautiful expansive tea plantations. In Marayoor, we will visit a local village and see the farming methods, sugarcane units, sandalwood forest, and Dolmens. You can interact with the locals and immerse yourself in the local activities. Then we will have a traditional lunch in the village prepared by the locals. After lunch, we will return to Munnar and go to the Munnar market. We will then return to the hotel and rest. Day 04, 8th November - After breakfast, we will check out of the hotel and drive to Periyar, which will take approximately 4 hours. Here, we will visit the Periyar tiger reserve- a world heritage site where you can explore the natural world of tigers along with other animals, birds, and animal species. Then we will go to the spice farms, to get mesmerised by the aromas of different spices and understand how they are grown and reach our kitchens. We will then head to the hotel to check in and relax. In the evening, we will visit a live martial arts show at a local theatre in a lively atmosphere. After this, we return to the hotel and relax. Day 05, 9th November - We have an early breakfast and drive to Alleppey, the backwaters of Kerala- approximately 4.5 hrs. Here, we will go on a houseboat cruise on the Vembanad Lake, experiencing the serene beauty and soothing calm of the backwaters. We will pass the paddy fields, canals, and palm-fringed lagoons, and experience the hustle and bustle of the daily life of the locals. We will have lunch prepared by the locals on the boat. We can try our hand at fishing if you like. In the evening, enjoy as the sun sets, over tea and snacks, and immerse yourself in nature. Now we will check into the hotel and relax. Day 6, 10th November - After breakfast, we will drive to Cochin, from where you will return home full of memories. The total cost of this trip per person is INR 61,500 plus GST on a twin-sharing basis. Please note that this trip is inclusive and open for people with all types of accessibility needs and non disabled people. Inclusions 1. 5 nights in a 4-star or similar hotel on a twin-sharing basis. 2. All breakfasts, starting on Day 02. 3. Air-conditioned Deluxe Vehicle for transfers and sightseeing. 4. All activities, experiences, and meals as mentioned in the travel plan. 5. Services of the Tour Manager. 6. Services of a shared travel buddy. 7. Sunset Harbour Cruise at Cochin. 8. Lunch at Fort Cochin on Day 02. 9. Guided tour in Marayoor Village with farm lunch. 10. Spice farm visit in Periyar. 11. Live Martial Arts show at Periyar. 12. Lunch cruise on a Houseboat. 13. All Entrance Fees and donations. 14. Drinking water. 15. Planet Abled designing, organising and trip management fee. Exclusions 1. Flight or train tickets between Cochin and the city of residence. 2. Travel Insurance. 3. Meals other than those mentioned. 4. Wheelchair or Other Equipment Rental. 5. Sign Language interpreter. Supplement cost will be split between those who require it. 6. Personal Travel Buddy (Carer/Assistant). A suitable buddy can be arranged at a supplement cost. 7. Any expenses of a personal nature. 8. Tips and gratuities. Hope all things about the trip are clear.
