Dear Listeners,

This week on Eyeway Conversations, we bring you the story of Anchal, a visually
impaired lawyer and policy researcher at Vidhi Centre for Legal Policy.

Anchal lost her mother at a young age and began losing her sight shortly after.
When schools refused her admission due to blindness, she turned her frustration
into purpose. She cracked CLAT, joined the National Law School in Bengaluru,
and built a legal career focused on disability inclusion.

In this episode, Anchal opens up about:

Being told she had to be “extraordinary” to deserve education

Choosing law to channel her emotions into systemic change

Preparing for CLAT with minimal support

Working in corporate law and facing integration barriers

Advocating for digital accessibility as a constitutional right

She also breaks down the impact of a landmark Supreme Court judgment that
affirms digital access as part of the Right to Life under Article 21.
