Update for the Access Indiaz group: Microsoft's Disability Answer Desk has shared updates on the feature requests discussed earlier for improving Narrator, the screen reader. Two feature requests have already been logged with the product team: adding a Screen Curtain/Dim Screen feature and enabling automatic language switching on non-Microsoft content. For the third request regarding more robust keyboard interaction capabilities, Microsoft is seeking clarification on the specific key combinations and features desired, comparable to NVDA. We encourage the group members to share their insights and provide feedback on the features they'd like to see in Narrator, which will help make it a fully functioning screen reader. Your contributions will be valuable in shaping the future of Narrator and potentially eliminating the need for third-party screen readers. Thank you in advance for your contributions, and I look forward to hearing from you soon. Let's work together to make Narrator more accessible and user-friendly.
