If you can still read large print, may be you should consider a video magnifier. There are a lot of good models these days. I am not convinced that a pen scanner is good for financial statements and such. Alternatively, you can use a flat bed scanner and then magnify the resulting scan on your PC using any screen magnification software like ZoomText or Magic.
