Sorry for the late reply. I do think it is important for CJK text
export to at least UTF-8. There are widely available tools to
handle/convert UTF-8 encoding now. Being able to directly process
a .abw file with text editor or script is very useful. Beside,
both xml libraries abiword used should be able to handle UTF-8
correctly.
So in short, Please had abiword export CJK text to UTF-8. Thanks
a lot.
