Here is a model of Reality: Note that we are constructed with hands, and note also that Neurons are constructed with Dendrites. There is a connection there.
Note that the number of hands we normally possess is two, whereas the number of dendrites normally possessed by a neuron is substantially larger. Now picture a hand holding a ring. Picture a person hold two rings, one in each hand. Picture a ring being held by more than one person, each person having a hand on it. Now imagine that a dendrite is analogous to a hand, and a neuron is analogous to a person. Then we are neurons in the larger organism we call the human race, and each of us has many "hands" with which we might grasp various "rings." Now picture a vast array of rings, many of which, separately, each one of us individually "has a hand in," i.e. is connected to via the neuronic self by the grasping of a ring with a dendrite. Then each individual has a part in many such "rings," and the particular combination of rings each of us has a part in are determined individually. The rings are tasks assigned by God, projects that life brings us; the dendrites are the "hands" of our involvement in these tasks. We are each connected by the tasks we each participate in, connected to those who share our tasks, via the Connecting Rings. These rings and the neurons that we are is all we can see existing, i.e. Prakriti (rings) and Purusha (neurons). GOD is LOVE, i.e., God is the fact of our connectedness. Anyone who chooses not to be connected to anyone, i.e. to reject all love with finality, will simply slip out of the structure completely, there being nothing to hold them intact to the rest of humanity.
