Actually, I was asked about perl support a while ago. I think the biggest 
issues with those labguages is that nobody would be willing to maintain the 
upstream support in a useful way.

Regarding go, I gave up. This is not about the language that I barely know, or 
the fact that the ecosystem is huge, which also comes with its downsides. The 
issue for me is that every time I tried to build some go program on my systems, 
it broke my filesystem. I don't know if that's only a cwfs issue, maybe it's 
better on hjfs and gefs, but that's the reason why I refuse to run any go stuff 
on my system.
