I think I remember that this configuration on the Mac is okay, but I could use some confirmaiton: a 64-bit 4D Server (which enables me to use maximum RAM for cache) and 32-bit 4D client apps (because ALP isn't yet 64-bit compatible).
Are there any reasons why I would run into trouble with this configuration? I'm upgrading an old app that was most recently v12, and wouldn't really benefit from 64-bit at this point. As for the Arealist Pro limitation: I understand there's a 64-bit version of that coming, but if I don't need 64-bit on the client app then I see no reason to push for it. Thanks for helping me clear my head on this. -- Sent from: http://4d.1045681.n5.nabble.com/4D-Tech-f1376241.html ********************************************************************** 4D Internet Users Group (4D iNUG) FAQ: http://lists.4d.com/faqnug.html Archive: http://lists.4d.com/archives.html Options: http://lists.4d.com/mailman/options/4d_tech Unsub: mailto:[email protected] **********************************************************************
