We have 389-ds set up and working. We are putting 2 new servers in place
shortly, and were following the instructions found here:

In there, there's a mention of a configuration directory server. I don't
recall having to set that up on the existing servers, so I just wanted
some clarification as to what that was and what it did. Also, was it
necessary.
