No Ian, this year's edition is quite different from last year's. Last year it was a rather big public event. This year is a rather intimate private event.
The location has a limited capacity and that there is a free dinner. You have got to realize that you can't do that for several hundreds of people. Sometimes you've got to work with what you have and make the best out of it. The original idea was a meet&mingle + dinner. I added the idea of the roundtable to that because I believe it's an interesting an valuable thing to do. If all goes well we should be able to record the panel discussion. In that case I will write everything out and have it made available on the website. Techno Brings People Together is going to be a yearly event. If all goes as planned next year's edition should be public again. Cheers! Looks good! Last years was excellent. Really enjoyed the parts from Felton Howard and especially that dude from Detroit public radio, giving the history of US radio. That guy was really educational.
